A kind and willing team of volunteers from various local Bunning stores visited our shelter at Kemps Creek this month to give us a much-needed facelift. Their donation included gifting us with an assortment of beautiful Australian native plants, some outdoor chairs, and our very own veggie garden!
The team worked hard throughout the day with some of their volunteers dedicated to putting together outdoor furniture, while others dug deep to ensure our plants and gardens were given the best start to life. This amazing crew brought everything they needed including their tools and lots of soil! At the end of the day, AWL NSW was given instructions on how to care for our new plants and how to make the most out of our new garden beds.
Everyone at AWL NSW would like to thank Bunnings Warehouse for their generous support, and for helping our shelter look more inviting to potential adopters.
