50% off adoption fees at Animal Welfare League NSW
What could be better than coming home to a wagging tail or a loving purr?
In an effort to find love for all of their shelter pets this month, Animal Welfare League NSW has discounted adoption fees by 50% for adult cats and dogs.
The AWL shelters are filled with beautiful pets who have been surrendered through no fault of their own, and they have so much love to give.
“We know there’s that special someone out there for each and every one of our shelter pets – and as it’s Valentine’s month, February is the perfect time to find love.” says Rosalie Horton, AWL Senior Behaviourist.
All pets available for adoption are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and health checked. Most importantly, shelter pets are behaviour assessed by the expert behaviour team, to ensure they can be well matched with the right new owners.
“Our professional team is here to provide advice and guide families through the adoption process, so you can adopt with peace of mind. We’d love to see all of our shelter pets, particularly the long-term residents, find their true love this month.” adds Rosalie.
AWL shelter pets come in all shapes and sizes, so no matter what type of lifestyle you have, AWL can help adopters find the right pet to suit them.
Just one of the pets ready to find love is Deezel the 2 year old Border Collie cross, who’s been waiting at the AWL shelter for a year now. Being an active breed, Deezel needs a home where he can enjoy a very active lifestyle. Also looking for love is Chilli the 2 year old Pug, and gorgeous felines Sally (18 months) and Scooter (14 years).
The AWL shelters, located at Kemps Creek in Sydney’s West and Ingleside on the Northern Beaches, are open every day from 10am to 3.30pm. To view the animals available for adoption click here
