Donna has a PhD in Sniffology🎓. She will stop to smell every "rose" (and anything else) on her walks. No scent is too insignificant for her expert nose.
Donna enjoys a good romp with her foster carers, showing off her playful side. She can be a bit shy in noisy settings and has a tendency to stall if she gets spooked. A quieter area would be ideal for her to feel safe and comfortable.
Donna walks very politely on lead, not pulling or reacting loudly but can sometimes decide that she's not going any further if she is out of routine or has decided her walk isn't finished yet.
Despite her timidity with loud noises, Donna is a social butterfly when it comes to meeting new humans. She's friendly and approachable, making new friends regularly.
Due to her fear of sudden movements and loud sounds, children over 10 are recommended. A home without cats is a must, but she does well with calm, docile dogs who respect her space.
Donna isn't too anxious about being left alone but does miss her people. Gradual alone time or part-time companionship would be best for her to adjust comfortably.
Adopting Donna means bringing home a greyhound with a heart of gold and a nose for adventure. Her loving nature, combined with her unique quirks, makes her a delightful and entertaining companion. Whether she's stopping to sniff every flower on your walk or curling up for a cuddle, Donna's presence will bring joy and laughter to your home.
If you're ready to add a loving, quirky, and utterly charming greyhound to your family, Donna is waiting to meet you.
