Max is a clever, goofy boy with a heart full of love and a few quirks that make him all the more special. He's the kind of dog who will keep you laughing with his rope toy zoomies and goofy expressions, but he also forms strong bonds with his people and thrives on connection, routine, and guidance.
Max is looking for a home with someone who understands dogs and can offer him the patience, structure, and mental stimulation he needs to feel secure. He enjoys enrichment games, training sessions, and regular exercise-anything that gets his mind working and his tail wagging. He may take a little time to fully relax, but once he does, his loyalty and affection shine through.
Max does have some separation anxiety, so he'll need a home where he's not left alone for long stretches, especially in the beginning. Our team has been helping him with crate training and building up his confidence, and he's already making great progress.
Because he prefers a quiet, low-stress environment, Max would do best as the only pet in an adult household or one with older, dog-savvy kids (12+). A secure yard with six-foot fencing will give him a safe space to potter and play.
Max isn't looking for just anyone-he's looking for his person. Someone who'll see past his worries, embrace his quirks, and help him keep growing into the best version of himself. If you're ready to welcome a truly special dog into your life, Max will reward you with endless laughs, loyalty, and love.
