Open to meet kids This gorgeous ball of muscle is Latch, a 6 month old mastiff X. Latch is likely to grow into a big strong boy and he's looking for some loving humans he can look after and call his own.
Latch loves a cuddle and will run up to say hello to anyone, but almost within seconds he's distracted by something shiny and is tearing off to investigate. He is a big boy with lots of energy and will need plenty of exercise as part of his daily routine.
Being just a puppy, Latch is sometimes a little unsure, he's sweet and cuddly and seeks reassurance. At other times he's a bull dozer, belting around playing with his toys, sniffing, having fun with his mates and exploring and investigating anything new.
Due to having been well socialized from a very young age, Latch gets along well with other dogs. He's a confident, friendly and intuitive little fella who enjoys playing with the bigger dogs when he gets a chance.
There's nothing Latch loves more than food. He's never happier than when he's chomping on his own bone, pigs ear or chew. He especially likes it when his sisters want what he has. His antics are hilarious to watch but also show that Latch is highly food motivated, meaning future training that incorporates treats as rewards will be a breeze.
Latch would suit a home where he's included in family activities. One where he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. We feel Latch would fit well into any family situation, he's very adaptable and would be wonderful with children of any age.
