Experienced cat owner Cornelius, affectionately known as Corny, is a young, fuzzy black cat with a unique personality and a knack for pulling the silliest faces in photos. This endearing goofball is looking for his forever home, one that includes another social cat to be his friend and mentor as he continues to blossom into the confident, quirky cat he's destined to be.
Corny had a rough start in life, which included lots of medical handling. But thanks to the love and patience of his experienced vet nurse foster carer (and the company of his many feline foster siblings), he's come a long way. Now, he's showing his funny, quirky side and is ready to find his forever home with someone who understands his need for patience and trust.
Corny loves to play, it's the best way to bond with him! He'll happily engage with his humans, his feline friends, or even entertain himself when you're out.
Once Corny feels safe, he becomes affectionate and will race up for more pats when you stop. He loves belly rubs, once comfortable, and will roll onto his back to show he's fully settled in.
Corny thrives in the company of other cats, especially those older than him. He leans on them for confidence and reassurance, forming strong bonds with his feline companions. He is best suited to a calm environment without young children or dogs, as he can be overwhelmed by quick movements. Corny needs someone who understands shy or scaredy cats and is willing to let him make the first move. Time, patience, and love will help him truly thrive.
