A Little Bit About Ellie
Meet Ellie, a loveable 8 month old border collie kelpie mix. She has had a bit of a rough start to life but has been making up for it since coming into care, where she is thriving and demonstrating a real zest for life and love of humans.
From the moment she arrived in her foster home, she has been exploring the great outdoors with excitement and curiosity. She is a smart pup, picking up new commands with ease. She has quickly learnt to take a wide arc around the cat, she is calm around the horses and learning if she runs up to the cows they will chase her, so she chooses to stay away. Chickens don't seem to bother her either.
Ellie is curious about the sheep, but is learning what 'leave' means.
She is gentle with the kids, but does get so excited to see them she sometimes forgets she is not allowed to jump up. Ellie is enjoying sleeping on a variety of beds and is flourishing with plenty of affection, fresh water and a healthy diet.
She loves her daily walks, helping out up at the horse stables and following you everywhere.
She does not dig or chew, so ensuring a good amount of exercise and family inclusion will ensure Ellie doesn't develop any destructive behaviours.
Ellie would suit a variety of different homes. She would make a great second dog addition. She is a little social butterfly, who loves to be in on the action and is ready to find her special human to continue to live the good life that she deserves.
Ellie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and vet checked. Cost $450
