A Little Bit About Buddy
Buddy is a very happy joyful boy who loves chasing balls (or almost anything you throw) and bringing them back to you. Buddy loves water, he splashes and plays in buckets when he's been running around and chases the hose.
He has not been tested with young children or older people but is good with older kids such as tweens.
He likes to bark at the chickens in the pen at his foster home. We are unsure how he would react if one was loose but would caution any potential home with chickens that they need to be kept separately.
Buddy is learning to sit and wait for his dinner and will benefit from more training to keep working on his manners. He is a youthful and exuberant dog and does jump when excited, which is a lot of the time 😊
He gets along very well with his doggy foster brother who he wrestles with when they wake up. He also plays with his doggy foster sister who usually doesn't want to play with anyone, but even she can't resist his infectious enthusiasm for life.
Buddy sleeps inside overnight in an open crate, as his crate training is still being developed. He is very clean inside the house but spends most of the days outside as there is more room to play!
Being a Kelpie, he requires plenty of exercise and games, otherwise he will become bored and bored dogs become destructive dogs. So, he needs a very active and engaging owner. He is very smart, so an owner who would like a dog-sport competitor would be a great match.
Buddy loves people, loves pats and will make a great active family dog.
Buddy is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and vet checked. Cost $450
