Animal Welfare League NSW is thrilled to announce the relaunch of our Northern Beaches Branch.
Dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals and promoting responsible pet ownership, the Branch is now seeking volunteers to help it provide much-needed services on the Northern Beaches.
These services include:
Subsidised Desexing Program:
To reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs and promote their health and well-being, the Northern Beaches Branch will offer subsidised desexing vouchers for cats and dogs. These vouchers are available to disadvantaged owners, who must provide supporting evidence, and can be used at local veterinarians.
Foster Care and Adoption Program:
The Branch will also support a foster care program for animals as they wait to find their forever homes and is currently seeking experienced cat and kitten carers to help meet the urgent need on the Northern Beaches.
Join Us in Making a Difference:
“We know that there’s a real need for the support that AWL NSW offers on the Northern Beaches. Being able to offer that support depends on the dedication and support of volunteers, foster carers, and donors.
Whether you can spare some time, offer a temporary home to a cat or dog in need, or contribute financially, your involvement could have a real impact on the lives of companion animals in our community.
If you share our passion for animal welfare and would like to work with like-minded members of the community to make a positive difference, please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you,” says Persephone Nicholas, President of the Northern Beaches Branch.
