With Return and Earn machines available across NSW, it’s never been easier to make your recycling efforts go further. By choosing Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) as your charity of choice in the Return and Earn app, every eligible container you recycle becomes a direct donation to support the care and rehoming of vulnerable animals.
How It Works
Each eligible item you recycle earns a 10-cent refund and when you nominate AWL NSW in the Return and Earn app, that refund is donated straight to us, helping provide food, shelter, medical care, and love to animals in need.
How to Get Started
Making a difference is simple:
- Download the Return and Earn app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and login or sign up.
- Once logged in, tap on the ‘Charities’ tab.
- Search for “Animal Welfare League NSW”.
- Tap on our name, scroll down, and select ‘Set as payout’.
- At your nearest Return and Earn machine or automated depot, scan your app using the on-screen QR code or Tag and Drop feature.
- Return your containers and press “TRANSFER” on the screen to send your refund directly to us.
That’s it! 100% of your refund is donated directly to AWL NSW to support our work in rehoming animals.
