Department of Primary Industries

AWL NSW is proud to partner with the NSW Government to bring our Animal Care Truck to regional areas across NSW. This invaluable and free mobile veterinary service has been a lifeline for pet owners in underserved areas. The Animal Care Truck team administer free health checks, vaccinations, microchipping and de-sexing services to communities most in need.

Our Animal Care Truck is the first of its kind, and this unique take on mobile veterinary services – in a truck – reached 26 communities in 2023, treating thousands of animals. This wouldn’t be possible without the support of the NSW Government who committed one-off funding towards mobile animal care services through its Mobile Animal Care Services Grant.

Office of Local Government

With the support of the NSW Office of Local Government, AWL NSW is investing in an innovative animal care precinct. The centre will feature an inspectorate command centre, a respite centre for animals affected by domestic violence and an overflow assistance centre to help councils and other groups deal with the rehoming of companion animals.

Network 10

Since 2021, AWL NSW has been incredibly proud to partner with Network 10 to bring to life The Dog House Australia.

The popular TV show is shot at our Kemps Creek shelter and has provided us an incredible opportunity to showcase some of our amazing dogs on their heart-warming journey to finding their forever homes. The dogs in each episode are just a small handful of the animals we rehome, rehabilitate and care for every day.

Pet Circle

Pet Circle is Australia’s largest online pet retailer, offering the widest range of high-quality pet products including food, toys, treats, medications and accessories. They are dedicated to creating a better world where every pet is healthy, happy and spends more quality-time with their pet parents.

Pet Circle generously support AWL NSW with the donation of much needed products at our shelter including toys, bedding and grooming equipment. They are also proud advocates of our Foster Care Network, supporting our ‘Foster Carers of the Month’ program, to reward and celebrate the dedication of our carers.

Our partnership with Elanco is pivotal for the treatment of all animals at our Kemps Creek shelter. Our Veterinary Clinic is equipped with Elanco’s life-saving treatments and medications to ensure our animals receive the quality care they need and deserve.
